We are having a wedding that weekend and my daughter would like to follow the Italian tradition of taking off her veil and having the apron put on. However, in this 21st century couple’s reality, it is the groom who does most of the cooking! That is why I bought a male apron as well! Do any of your subscribers (Polish or Italian) know the tradition I am speaking of? I thought I remembered going to Italian weddings years ago when I was a little girl and watching the veil come off and the apron go on and then the bride being lifted above the crowd on her chair by 4 of the male guests.
